I've discovered that nature natural colours, shapes and textures make for great abstract art-like results and which are fascinating to witness emerge during the digital 'darkroom' process I use to 'develop' them from my original photo-images. You never really know what might result from an image of a pomegranate tree, copse of trees or bullrush until you start the process and I love that.
