I'm 80% Yorkshire and 20% Scottish and I've always loved tartan!  Early on in the genesis of TVFMR, I very much wanted a print design that reflected my heritage and the idea of a tartan in 'Yorkshire' colours very much appealed. My original 'Yorkshire Tartan' in blue, yellow, green and white is inspired by the Yorkshire county colours whilst my latest two new tartans are inspired by the North York Moors and Yorkshire coastline. Because I used a tartan textile pattern-design tool to create my tartans, they can be woven as well as printed and which provides a range of special occasion bespoke clothing commission opportunities.
