'Tropica' has emerged as a lush, exotic, celebration of herbaceous border foliage and made for an especially striking floral design and which looks almost tropical. I've always liked gardening. I'm not especially knowledgable but did pick-up a lot from my father who was and which has stayed with me. I've been fortunate to have had some lovely gardens at my own homes that I've lived in since starting work in the early 1980s. I've had three brand new houses which offered a blank canvas and I very much enjoyed designing the layout and landscaping and then staying long enough to see it all mature. On a par with my current garden however was definitely at my 1750 cottage in Hertfordshire, England, and to which devoted eighteen years before moving on. I will write a Blog post about it all. I learnt several years ago just how therapeutic gardens and nature can be and during COVID lots of people discovered the same. For those city dwellers without gardens it was especially tough though and I partly started TVFMR as a result of posting my landscape images of the moors and coast for people to enjoy and derive some mental relief from their endless incarceration.
