'Sandside Quay' Enhanced Photo

A lovely view of the harbour's main quay overlooked by Old Town and St Mary's church where I was christened. When I was a child, this quay would be lined with European timber boats unloading their cargos onto big brown articulated flatbed lorries - much of it destined for the local sawmill in Brook Street from where I collected sawdust for a local butcher's shop floor when I had a holiday job as a student. In earlier centuries it was the site of intensive and nationally important shipbuilding.

All TVFMR fine art prints and canvases are available framed or unframed.

A 12 colour giclée process is used to print both fine art and canvas editions.

In the case of framed fine art prints, images are printed onto museum-grade paper which has a gently textured surface. Unframed fine art prints are printed onto Hahnemühle Rag paper, a fabulous cotton rag with a lovely soft feel and light felt texture which provides a subtle three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth.

Canvas prints are 38mm deep and printed onto finely textured artist-grade cotton canvas and finished with ‘museum wrapped’ edges meaning that the image covers the whole visible surface with edges finished plain white.
